Peter Lindbergh, l'un des photographes les plus importants de sa génération, a réalisé des photographies inédites d'oeuvres d'Alberto Giacometti sélectionnées dans la collection de la Fondation Giacometti. Cet ouvrage richement illustré présente le résultat de ce travail singulier, en lien avec des sculptures et de nombreux dessins inédits de Giacometti. Ce face-à-face montre le dialogue très intime qui s'est établi entre le photographe et les oeuvres du sculpteur, tout en révélant de nombreux points communs dans leurs manières d'appréhender la représentation du réel.

Peter Lindbergh, one of the most important photographers of his generation, created photographs of Alberto Giacometti's works, chosen from the Giacometti Foundation collection, that have remained unpublished.
