L'artiste Salvatore Arancio revêt avec élégance l'habit de rock star que le fanzine de luxe Pleased to meet you lui prête. De la psyché au psychédélisme, ses images intérieures remontent à la surface sous forme d'hallucinations éveillées et précipitent les certitudes loin dans les limbes. Totalement fantasmagorique, son oeuvre en quatre dimensions poursuit ses obsessions aux confins de l'espace, du temps et de la matière en s'inspirant des débuts de la science illustrée, lorsque le fantastique étayait la raison pour éclaircir les zones d'ombre. Arancio subvertit la nature à son tour par un surplus de naturel et, ce faisant, forge les objets d'un rituel nouveau dédié à une Gaïa fécondée par l'imaginaire.

From psyche to psychedelia, his innermost images rise to the surface in the form of waking hallucinations to cast any certainties far into limbo. Utterly phantasmagorical in nature, his four-dimensional work pursues his obsession with the confines of space, time and matter, drawing inspiration from early illustrations of science, where fantasy underpinned reason in an attempt to illuminate the unknown.
