À l'occasion de la 32^e édition du Festival International du Photojournalisme Visa pour l'Image - Perpignan, les éditions Snoeck ont le plaisir de publier, pour la treizième fois, le catalogue officiel du festival.

Depuis sa première édition en 1989, le festival nous rappelle que, pour une information visuelle de qualité, le regard du photojournaliste est indispensable. Rendez-vous immanquable des amoureux de la photographie et du reportage, le festival réunit plus de 220 000 visiteurs chaque année à Perpignan.

Depuis 31 ans, Visa pour l'Image - Perpignan accompagne les mutations économiques et politiques des métiers du photojournalisme et de la presse, et soutient les professionnels en leur donnant l'opportunité de montrer leur travail et de le faire découvrir au plus grand nombre.

Cette année, nous présentons toutes les expositions de l'édition 2020 avec, pour chacun des photographes, huit pages consacrées à leur reportage.

For the 32^nd International Festival of Photojournalism Visa pour l'lmage-Perpignan, the publishing house Snoeck is pleased to be producing the festival's thirteenth official catalogue.

Since the first festival in 1989, the message has been one of quality - quality visual news reports conveying information, as seen through the eyes of photojournalists, offering their essential contribution. Everyone who appreciates photography and reporting comes to the festival, a major event in the photography calendar. Every year in Perpignan the festival attracts large crowds with more than 220 000 visitors to the exhibitions. For 31 years, Visa pour l'lmage-Perpignan has been following developments and changes in both the politics and the economy of photojournalism and the press industry, and has supported professional photojournalists by providing them with the opportunity to show their work to a wide range of people.

Now, more than ever before, we can see just how important the festival is, acting as an advocate for photojournalists whose job is to provide news and information, to offer insights and issue warnings, while working in conditions with no real security, whether for physical safety or for employment/income.
